Deborah Garofano spent too many years as a writer in the high-tech industry before she started penning fiction. Her debut novel, The Rancher’s Legacy, was released in December 2025; the sequel, The Passion Within, will be published in the fall of 2026. An award-winning author, she is a member of the Gulf Coast Writers Association and the Fort Myers Pelican Pens. She was born and raised in New England, but her heart is in the mountains and on the flyfishing streams of the Western United States.
